A 16-inch OLED laptop with a next-gen Ryzen AI chip and 32GB of RAM for under $1,500 is a solid find. The ASUS Zenbook S16 just dropped to $1,499.99 on eBay, which is $200 off its usual price. If you've been eyeing a premium big-screen ultrabook for productivity or creative work, this one checks a lot of boxes.
Why this Zenbook S16 stands out
The headline here is the display. A 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen is rare at this price point, and it's the kind of panel that makes everything from spreadsheets to streaming look fantastic. Colors are rich, blacks are deep, and the touch layer adds a bit of versatility if you like tapping through apps.
Under the hood, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 is a 2026 chip built for both everyday speed and on-device AI tasks. Paired with 32GB of RAM, this laptop should handle heavy multitasking without breaking a sweat. The 1TB SSD gives you plenty of room for files, photos, and a few games.
Is $1,499.99 a good price?
For a 16-inch OLED laptop with these specs, yes — it's a competitive price. Similar configurations from other brands often land closer to $1,700 or more. The $200 discount brings it into a more comfortable range for a premium ultrabook.
That said, eBay pricing can fluctuate, and this looks like a limited-time offer. If you're in the market for a big-screen laptop that can handle creative work and everyday productivity, it's worth grabbing before the price goes back up.
Who should consider it
- Creative professionals who want a color-accurate OLED screen for photo or video editing.
- Students or office workers who need a large display for multitasking and don't want a separate monitor.
- Anyone curious about AMD's latest Ryzen AI chips and want a future-proof machine.
- Gamers looking for a sleek laptop for casual or indie titles — though it's not a dedicated gaming rig.
Bottom Line
- 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen is the star of the show.
- Ryzen AI 9 465 with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD is a strong combo for productivity.
- $1,499.99 is $200 off and a solid value for a premium OLED laptop.
