A 14-Inch Zephyrus G14 With an RTX 5080 Is Down to $2,759.99 on eBay

A 14-inch gaming laptop with a desktop-class GPU badge is always going to turn heads, and this Zephyrus G14 listing is no exception. The 2025 model pairs AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with an RTX 5080, and it's currently sitting at $2,759.99 on eBay after a 13% cut. That's a lot of machine in a small chassis — but let's talk about whether it's the right lot of machine for you.

Why this configuration is unusual for a 14-incher

Most 14-inch gaming laptops ask you to compromise somewhere. Usually it's the GPU, sometimes the RAM, and almost always the storage. This G14 doesn't really do that. You're getting 32GB of memory and a 2TB SSD out of the box, which means no immediate upgrade anxiety and no juggling game installs against your work files.

The RTX 5080 here is rated at 110W with 16GB of VRAM. That wattage ceiling matters — in a chassis this thin, ASUS is balancing thermals against raw output, so don't expect the same sustained numbers you'd see from a chunky 16-inch desktop replacement. What you do get is a genuinely portable machine that can handle modern titles at the panel's native 2880 x 1800 resolution with sensible settings.

The screen is the quiet star

A 120Hz OLED at 2880 x 1800 on a 14-inch panel is a genuinely lovely thing to look at. Colors pop, blacks are actually black, and the pixel density means text stays crisp for productivity work too. If you split time between gaming and creative or office tasks, this display is doing double duty better than most alternatives.

The flip side of OLED is the usual caveat: static UI elements over long sessions can leave their mark. It's less of a concern than it was a few years ago, but if you're the type to leave a spreadsheet open for eight hours straight, keep that in mind.

Is $2,759.99 a good price?

This is a premium configuration, and the price reflects that. A 14-inch laptop with an RTX 5080, 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage was never going to be cheap, and a 13% discount is a real cut rather than a rounding error. Whether it's the best price ever seen on this exact spec is hard to say without tracking it over months, but it's a meaningful drop from list.

One thing to weigh: buying through eBay means checking the seller's reputation and return policy before you commit. Confirm the warranty situation and whether the listing is new, open-box, or refurbished. At this price, those details matter more than the discount itself.

Who should actually buy this

If you want one laptop that handles demanding games, video editing, and everyday work without feeling like a brick in your bag, this spec sheet is close to ideal. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a strong all-rounder, and 32GB of RAM gives you headroom for years.

If you mostly game at a desk, though, a larger chassis will give you more GPU headroom for the money. And if you're on a tighter budget, there are plenty of 14-inch options with mid-tier GPUs that cost considerably less. This one is for people who want the top end in a small package and are willing to pay for it.

Bottom Line

• 32GB RAM and a 2TB SSD mean no immediate upgrades needed.
• The 110W GPU rating is worth noting — thin chassis, so expect thermal trade-offs.
• Verify seller reputation and warranty terms before buying on eBay.
