Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 with Ryzen AI 7 445 Drops to $628 on eBay

If you're in the market for a versatile laptop that won't break the bank, this certified refurbished Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 might be worth a look. It's currently going for $628 on eBay, which is a hefty 42% discount off the original price. The specs are surprisingly solid for the money, and the 2-in-1 form factor adds a lot of flexibility.

What You're Getting for $628

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 packs a Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, which is part of AMD's latest lineup with integrated AI acceleration. That should handle everyday tasks and some light creative work without breaking a sweat. The 16GB of RAM is a sweet spot for multitasking, and the 512GB SSD offers decent storage for most people.

The 15.3-inch WUXGA touchscreen has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, which is a nice step up from standard 1080p thanks to the extra vertical pixels. The 2-in-1 design means you can flip it into tablet mode, tent mode, or stand mode—handy for presentations, sketching, or just lounging on the couch.

• AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with Radeon 840M graphics
• 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD
• 15.3" WUXGA (1920 x 1200) touch display
• Windows 11 Home pre-installed
• Certified refurbished with warranty

Is This a Good Deal?

At $628, this is a solid price for a laptop with these specs, especially considering it's a 2-in-1 with a high-res touchscreen. Comparable new models often go for $800 or more. The fact that it's certified refurbished means it's been inspected and tested, and it typically comes with a warranty, though you'll want to check the seller's terms.

Historically, we've seen similar IdeaPad 5 configurations drop to around $600 during major sales events, so this isn't an all-time low, but it's still a good value if you need something now. The Ryzen AI 7 445 is a capable chip that should handle productivity, streaming, and light gaming (thanks to the Radeon 840M).

• 42% off the original price
• Comparable new models often cost $800+
• Certified refurbished includes warranty (check seller details)
• Good for students, office work, and light creative tasks

Who Should Consider This?

This laptop is a great fit for students, professionals, or anyone who needs a versatile machine for everyday use. The 2-in-1 design and touchscreen make it handy for note-taking, drawing, or watching videos in different positions. The Ryzen AI 7 445 also has some AI acceleration, which could be useful for future software that takes advantage of it.

If you're a gamer, the integrated Radeon 840M won't handle demanding titles at high settings, but it can manage older games and esports titles at lower settings. For serious gaming, you'd want a dedicated GPU.

• Students: great for notes, research, and portability
• Professionals: capable for office tasks and video calls
• Creatives: decent for light photo editing and sketching
• Not ideal for hardcore gaming or heavy video editing
