Lenovo Legion 5R with RTX 5070 and OLED Drops to $1,204 After Coupon

If you've been hunting for a gaming laptop that doesn't skimp on the screen, this Lenovo Outlet deal is worth a look. A certified refurbished Legion 5R with an RTX 5070 and a gorgeous OLED panel is down to $1,204.42 after applying coupon code OUTLET20. That's $301.11 off, and for the hardware you're getting, it's a pretty compelling package.

What You're Actually Getting for $1,204

The Legion 5R is a solid mid-range gaming machine, and this configuration punches above its price. The i9-14900HX is a 24-core beast that handles heavy multitasking and CPU-intensive games without breaking a sweat. Paired with the RTX 5070, you're looking at smooth 1440p gaming in most titles, and the 16GB of RAM is adequate for gaming and everyday use, though serious multitaskers might want to upgrade later.

The real star here is the display. A 15.1-inch WQXGA OLED with a 165Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and full DCI-P3 coverage is rare at this price point. Colors will pop, blacks will be inky, and motion will be fluid. Whether you're gaming or doing creative work, this screen is a joy.

• i9-14900HX: 24 cores, excellent for gaming and productivity
• RTX 5070: great for 1440p gaming at high settings
• 16GB RAM: sufficient for most games, upgradable
• 1TB SSD: plenty of fast storage for a large game library
• OLED display: 2560x1600, 165Hz, 500 nits, 100% DCI-P3

Is This a Good Deal?

For a certified refurbished unit, $1,204 is aggressive. Comparable new Legion 5R models with an RTX 5070 often sell for $1,500 or more, and that's without the OLED upgrade. The $301 discount via code OUTLET20 brings it down to a price that's hard to ignore.

Certified refurbished from Lenovo Outlet means the laptop has been inspected, tested, and restored to like-new condition, and it comes with a warranty. You're saving a chunk of change while still getting a reliable machine. If you're comfortable with refurbished, this is a smart buy.

• New equivalents typically cost $1,500+
• OLED panel adds significant value
• Certified refurb includes warranty
• Coupon code OUTLET20 takes $301.11 off

Who Should Grab This?

This laptop is ideal for gamers who want a high-refresh OLED screen without spending flagship money. It's also a strong pick for content creators who need accurate colors and a fast CPU for rendering. The RTX 5070 gives you headroom for ray tracing and DLSS, so you're future-proofed for a while.

If you need more than 16GB of RAM right away, factor in the cost of an upgrade, but for most people, this config is ready to go out of the box.

• Gamers wanting a premium display on a budget
• Creators who need color accuracy and CPU power
• Anyone okay with a certified refurbished unit

Bottom Line

• Certified refurbished Legion 5R with RTX 5070 and OLED for $1,204.42
• Use code OUTLET20 to get $301.11 off
• OLED display is a standout feature at this price
• Great value compared to new equivalents
