Lenovo's Yoga 7a 2-in-1 Drops to $999: A 16" OLED Convertible with Ryzen AI Inside

If you've been hunting for a big-screen convertible that doesn't skimp on display quality, this Lenovo Yoga 7a deal is worth a look. It's currently $999 on eBay after a 35% discount, and for that you get a 16-inch 2K OLED touchscreen, AMD's latest Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 24GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD. That's a lot of laptop for the money, especially with Copilot+ PC features baked in.

Why this Yoga 7a stands out

The headline here is the screen. A 16-inch 2K OLED panel with touch support is still relatively rare in the sub-$1,000 range, and it makes a huge difference for everything from photo editing to Netflix binges. OLED means perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and wide viewing angles—stuff you usually pay a premium for.

Then there's the silicon. AMD's Ryzen AI 7 445 is part of the new wave of processors built with on-device AI acceleration in mind. Combined with the Copilot+ PC designation, you're getting a machine that's ready for Windows' AI features like Recall, Cocreator, and live captions. It's not just a spec bump; it's a platform that'll stay relevant for years.

• 16" 2K OLED touchscreen—great for creative work and media
• Ryzen AI 7 445 with dedicated AI hardware
• 24GB RAM is more than most laptops at this price
• 512GB SSD is adequate, but you might want external storage later
• 2-in-1 hinge lets you flip to tablet or tent mode

Is $999 a good price?

For a 16-inch OLED convertible with these specs, yes—it's a strong value. Comparable Yoga 7i models with Intel chips and similar displays often hover around $1,200–$1,400 when not on sale. The 35% discount brings it down to a point where it undercuts many 14-inch OLED laptops with lesser hardware.

That said, eBay deals can vary by seller. Make sure you're buying from a reputable source with a return policy. If the listing is from Lenovo's official eBay storefront, you're in good shape. Otherwise, check the seller's feedback and warranty terms before pulling the trigger.

• Typical street price for similar configs: $1,200+
• 35% off is steeper than most seasonal sales
• Verify seller ratings and return window on eBay

Who should buy this?

This laptop is a great fit if you want one device for work and play. The large OLED screen is fantastic for spreadsheets, writing, and streaming, while the 2-in-1 design adds flexibility for sketching or presenting. The Ryzen AI chip and 24GB RAM mean you can keep dozens of browser tabs open without slowdown.

If you're a gamer, note that this isn't a gaming laptop—it relies on integrated Radeon graphics. Light titles and older games will run fine, but don't expect to play the latest AAA releases at high settings. For everyone else, it's a well-rounded machine that should last several years.

• Students: great for note-taking and media
• Professionals: solid for office work and light creative tasks
• Not ideal for hardcore gaming or heavy 3D rendering

Bottom Line

• $999 for a 16" 2K OLED 2-in-1 with Ryzen AI 7 445 and 24GB RAM is a solid deal.
• OLED display and Copilot+ features make it future-proof for everyday use.
• Check eBay seller reputation and warranty before buying.
• Not a gaming laptop—integrated graphics limit heavy gaming.
