Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024) with Snapdragon X Plus Drops to $1,096

If you're in the market for a sleek, capable laptop that won't break the bank, this Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024) deal might be worth a look. Amazon has it listed at $1,096.46, which is 27% off the usual price. That's a pretty sweet discount for a machine with a Snapdragon X Plus chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Let's break down what you're getting and whether it's a good buy.

Why This Surface Laptop Stands Out

The 2024 Surface Laptop is part of Microsoft's Copilot+ PC lineup, which means it's built with AI features in mind. The Snapdragon X Plus processor with 10 cores is designed to handle everyday tasks efficiently while sipping battery. You also get 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, which is a comfortable combo for multitasking and storing a decent amount of files.

The 13.8-inch touchscreen is a nice size—not too big, not too small. It's great for productivity, streaming, and light creative work. And the platinum color gives it a clean, professional look that fits in anywhere.

Is $1,096 a Good Price?

Historically, this configuration has hovered around $1,500, so seeing it at $1,096 is a significant drop. That's a 27% savings, which is pretty rare for a current-gen Surface Laptop. If you've been eyeing one, this is likely one of the better prices you'll see outside of major sales events like Black Friday.

Keep in mind that prices on Amazon can fluctuate, so it's worth checking if the deal is still live before pulling the trigger.

Who Should Consider This Deal?

This laptop is a solid choice for students, professionals, and anyone who needs a reliable everyday machine. The Snapdragon X Plus is efficient for web browsing, office work, and light photo editing. It's also a good fit if you want to dabble with AI features in Windows 11 without spending a fortune.

However, if you're into heavy gaming or demanding creative software like video editing, you might want to look for something with a dedicated GPU. But for general use, this Surface Laptop hits a sweet spot.

Bottom Line

• 27% off makes this a strong deal for a current-gen Surface Laptop.
• Snapdragon X Plus and 16GB RAM handle everyday tasks with ease.
• 13.8" touchscreen and platinum finish offer a premium feel.
• Not ideal for heavy gaming or intensive creative work.
