If you're in the market for a premium 2-in-1 that can handle work and play, Samsung's latest Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 just got a bit more tempting. Amazon has it for $1,299.99, which is 9% off the usual price. That's a solid discount on a machine that packs Intel's newest Core Ultra 7 processor and one of the best displays you'll find on a laptop right now.
What You're Getting for $1,299.99
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is Samsung's flagship convertible for 2025, and it shows. The 16-inch 3K AMOLED display is the star here — it's bright, colorful, and has a 120Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling and animations feel buttery smooth. Whether you're editing photos or just binge-watching, this screen is a joy.
Under the hood, you've got Intel's Core Ultra 7 256V processor, which is part of the new Lunar Lake lineup. It's built for efficiency and AI tasks, so you'll get good battery life and snappy performance for everyday productivity. The 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD are standard for this price range, but they're plenty for most users.
- 16-inch 3K AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate
- Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor with integrated AI acceleration
- 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD
- Windows 11 Pro pre-installed
- 2-in-1 design with 360-degree hinge and S Pen support
- Sleek gray finish, weighs around 3.7 pounds
Is This a Good Deal?
At $1,299.99, this is one of the better prices we've seen for the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 since its release. It typically sells for around $1,430, so you're saving about $130. That's not a massive discount, but for a brand-new model with a top-tier display, it's a reasonable drop.
Comparable laptops like the Dell XPS 16 or HP Spectre x360 often cost more for similar specs, though they might have slightly better build quality or different port selections. If you value screen quality above all else, the Samsung is hard to beat.
- Current price: $1,299.99 (9% off)
- Typical street price: around $1,430
- Competitors: Dell XPS 16, HP Spectre x360, Lenovo Yoga 9i
Who Should Buy This?
This laptop is ideal for professionals, students, or anyone who needs a versatile machine for work and entertainment. The 2-in-1 form factor and S Pen support make it great for note-taking, sketching, or presentations. The AMOLED screen is perfect for creative work like photo editing or graphic design.
However, if you're a gamer or need serious GPU power for video rendering, you'll want to look elsewhere. The integrated Intel Arc graphics are fine for light gaming and media acceleration, but they won't handle AAA titles at high settings. Also, 512GB of storage might feel tight if you have a large media library, though it's upgradeable.
- Great for: productivity, creative work, media consumption, note-taking
- Not ideal for: hardcore gaming, heavy video editing, large storage needs
Bottom Line
- Samsung's Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is down to $1,299.99 on Amazon — a 9% discount.
- You get a stunning 16-inch 3K AMOLED touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD.
- This is a solid price for a premium 2-in-1, but not a historic low.
- Best for productivity and creative tasks; not for gaming or heavy GPU workloads.
